About Me

My name is Lewis Gibson. I'm male, 24, and currently live in Birmingham, in the UK. I graduated from LMU in July 2004 with a 2.1 in Systems Analysis and Design (66% average) so now I am technically a BSC (Hons)!. I have an other half - Cath Hood, who I met at a hockey Christmas party. I normally play Hockey every week during the season, this upcoming season I will be back playing for Bournville (hopefully the 2nds) after recovering from my cruciate injury, and playing some great summer hockey in Australia. After university I spent a month travelling in Hong Kong, then 5 months of working/travelling in Australia, then 7 weeks travelling in New Zealand with 3 more weeks in Australia, and a week in LA on the way back. I'm also a qualified L1 umpire. I also like playing football and pool, and swimming. I learnt to dive out in Australia, and have now dived in Australia, New Zealand and the USA. I'm a PADI Advanced Open Water diver, with 43 dives logged. I am also interested in photography, espeically underwater photography, and I will add a few galleries of those pictures when I can.

I now have a new hosting package from my new job, so I'm putting a load of new stuff up, including Cath's holiday photos, and hopefully other photographs.

This site is a collection of things relating to me. The photos section gives you an idea of what I look like as well as people I know. The most comprehensive section is the HiFi one - listing everything I have, with relevant specifications and statistics, though I hope to do another extensive one on underwater photography. The History is a work in progress, based on memories of school, initially, which will expand as I get time. Don't get offended by the Hates, Laws and Views sections, they're just my opinions of various things. The DVDs / CDs section was just an idea I came up with to at least keep track of what I own. The DVDs section is done, CDs won't be completed till after I graduate and have the time, so look out for it in July. The hockey is the most frequently updated section usually, it gives details of the games I played in, goals scored and sometimes a review of the game. Lastly, the PC section is just to give you an idea of the PC I use at home which doesn't get changed often. I don't always get much chance to update this so some pages will be out of date, but when I get free time after finishing work I will do full update and fill out all the sections.
