When one of my friends first started dating a rockabilly dude, back when were about 13, she was intrigued by his creepers. The intrigue turned to amusement when she overheard a child calling them 'special person's shoes'. I actually have a lot of time for a creeper if it's worn nicely, but for me, these are a far more viable option.

In a dream world, I'd own the Rupert Sanderson ones (left). They cost £595 though, so it's not going to happen. I actually prefer the patent pink pastel ones with leopard print (I know), but I can't find a picture online. The ones on the right are from Office and I will be buying them, stat.

It's no secret that I love High School Musical. It's the best film in the world. No, really, it is. When Andrew WK wrote to me (YES, it happened, deal with it) he said, and I quote (or CTRL+C, which is the new 'I quote');

"I've not yet seen High School Musical, but I hear it's one of the
greatest movies of all time! I look forward to it."

These are some new shots of BBV (Vanessa 'n00dz' Hudgens), Efron (erm, Zac Efron) and Tizz (Ashley 'what nose job?' Tilsdale) from Elle. WTF? Look how hot they are! It's banging! It's gang-banging!

Of course, if you know anything about the cast of HSM, you'll know that Efron and BBV (the brunette, if you don't know) are a happy couple, but does this shoot suggest some kind of threesome? I mean, clearly we all know Efron is gay, but now I'm just confused. I love the shoot though, very nice. See it all here. Disney do not, I guess, approve.

PS When I was working at a certain tabloid newspaper, we got a letter from a reader making probably the best dad joke ever, with regard to this story. I think about it often, and it never ceases to make me snigger. The paper, for some inexplicable reason, chose not to run it. Here's the jist of it;

"I thought Fern Britton's Gastric Band was Fat Boy Slim's support act. Am I mistaken?"
