Pulp is an upcoming book by supermodel Joni Harbeck and photographer Neil Krug. It's out this year, but other than that I can't really tell you anything. Aren't the pictures incredible? Pulp is definitely the word. It's like someone put Quentin Tarantino's spaff under a microscope.

All pics c/o Neil Krug. I urge/implore you to keep checking the website for a release date.

ZOMG, the already epic Sublime Stitching have added to their epic-ness by introducing a Daniel Johnston kit to their extensive range of embroidery templates. Why not buy your own and snazz up a shirt? Better than buying one from Urban... Just cuz Kurt wore it, doesn't mean you need to sell it guys. Hum hum hum, cushions, blankets, clothes... the options are endless.

If you're not familiar with Daniel Johnston (shame on you), I would make the same recommendation as Sublime Stitching -- check out The Devil & Daniel Johnston and learn yourself good.

The always impeccable Natalie* mentioned this Patrick Demarchelier shoot the other day, and I've been obsessing over it ever since. Isn't it, like, totally radical? Gnarly, some might say. Grody, others might. But they'd be wrong. Would it be possible to time travel back to 1991 and not be a goth, but instead be a rich girl living in San Fernando? So obsessed with the pastel shades and ~ladylike~ props. I want my hair like this, a Valley Girl tan, a gingham shift and some duck egg blue gloves.

Karen Mulder & Elaine Irwin, shot by Patrick Demarchelier for US Vogue, February 1991. Pics c/o The Fashion Spot, obv.

*Srsly, I'm not aiming to be an Internet creep but how do people manage to look this good all the time? Incroyable.

This time baby I'll be bulletproof

Living in the depths of south east London (lol, does SE14 count as ~the depths~?), it seems only right I stock up on some body armour. The 21 is a dangerous bus these days. A ballistic vest probs wouldn't be appropriate for day to day usage, but maybe I could just buy 100 of these and cover my entire body with them?

Tobias Wong designed the Ballistic Rose out of polyester carbonate so you can (and I quote), "protect yourself in times of conflict by wearing this brooch over your heart." Swoon. I say, hit me with your best shot! Fire away!

Ever since Tavi kicked me off her Twitter friends (hurt is not the word), I've been on the lookout for a younger, more... French replacement. Think I found her. Now I just need to encourage this fierce bitch to start a blog. You and me kiddo, we'll give 'em all a run for their money.

Pic c/o here
