I never got into that whole owl necklace craze that went on last year. Owls tend to remind me of Owlma, the robotic bird/monster from Greenclaws -- remember her? (You can thank me later for reminding you of that GEM). And if I'm not thinking of Owlma, it's Plop -- The Owl That Was Afraid of the Dark

Still, I'm starting to get over my owl 'thing'. I'm still not into the jewellery with dangly birds resembling my mum's macramé wall hanging from the 70s, but this etched copper necklace from Seattle-based artist Jessi Frenkel is something a bit different.



Just the right combination of demonic eyes and fluffy feathers. Plop it ain't (snigger). Buy it heeere.

Tuesday is nearly over, and you know what that means. Time for some bluegrass.
