Oh yow, I am nuts for the hair at Christian Lacroix. I'm not going to talk about the clothes because I mean, OBVERS. Christian can do absolutely nothing wrong. At all. I don't care what you throw at me, I'll bat it right back in your face. Harder.

Neon striped hair in enormo plaits... oh, I die. The perfect combination of ballerina pretty bun and ~punk rock~.

Chris Moore at Catwalking has some neato backstage shots, which give us a good idea of what goes into the style...

Like a big red rose that's made of paper, there isn't any sweetness in your heart

Let's talk about how predictable it is that I love the paper headpieces from Chanel couture. Wow, obviously I love them. So big! So floral! So well-crafted!

Msr Lagerfeld had little to do with them, of course. The crafting was done by Kamo, a Japanese hairdresser who the Kaiser employed to do his dirty work.

Much appreciated Karl, much appreciated.

Toss you in the trash then reduce you to an acronym... WTF?

OMG! I found these years ago and totes forgot about them until... now! LOL! Once I remembered they existed I proceded to spend about an hour tracking them down, but finally came up trumpss. They are basically the best thing in the world. Fing'rs make all sorts of rad fake nails and nail art, and these bad boys are from the TXT ME range. What does this mean? Nails that spell out LOL! ZOMG! LMAO!, that's what.

I'm not giving you the eBay link.

Would you say the fringe was made of silk?

This necklace is sold out, but let's just take a moment to enjoy it anyway. Iheartnorwegianwood's Etsy store has a whole bunch of other fringed items and there are also LEGGINGS for all you LEGGINGS fans out there.

Look at how it moves! It's like a flapper dress for your neck. I don't condone ripping off people's designs, but I'm kinda tempted to recreate something similar to this with the metre-long fringing Twineth and I tracked down at PV...

There was a thing on the news (it's where I get MY news man) today about the government telling parents not to let kids under 15 drink alcohol. EVARR. It reminded me of this shirt, which I feel I might now have to invest in after much deliberation.

Disclaimer: I don't know if Japan does sell beer to children. I have no proof. Take it up with the designer, not me.
