I've been searching for pictures of last night alllll day in order to tell you about it, and finally someone gets with it and uploads. Yesterday evening I went to the Charlie Le Mindu show. He's basically a hairdresser who favours pop-up salons and does hair in clubs, parties, gigs... that kinda fun. He styles a lot of club kids and is essentially cooler than any of us jaded old hags could dream of. The crowd outside the venue was packed with kids reworking the 90s trend, too young to remember it the first time around. Sigh.
Anyway, the show itself was RAD. I covered his work with Emma Bell a while ago for work, so it was nice to actually get a good look at his work close up. It was basically headpieces made of hair, interwoven with skulls and dead rats. Very ~tribal~. I spent most of the show with my head between my hands, afraid that the girls were going to fall over under the weight of the hair x the wonky floorboards of 33 Portland Place. They didn't. It was an all-round awesome show, and a nice end to LFW. I sat next to Peaches (!!!), who was resplendent in an outfit made of hair, and the goodie bags were some of the best I've had in a while. Tatty Devine, Korres, and a weird milky liqueur called Coole Swan??

Anyway, these pictures come c/o We Know What You Did Last Night and I URGE you to go to the site and look at the rest. If you have mad skillz, you can probably see me somewhere on the front row.

The make-up at Ann-Sofie Back was ghoul-a-rific, and I guess not all that wearable. HOWEVS, those glasses! Let's take a moment. Older readers may recall my ~novelty~ sunglasses collection. I haven't added to it for a while, but these blood-dripping bad boys are screaming out to me.

When we were in Manchester last weekend, Charleen and I discussed the possibility of getting a set of Louis Vuitton trunks put on our expenses. Like... we lost all our luggage in a freak taxi ride and obviously had no way of getting home without some kind of suitcase... and the only stuff on offer at the Lowry was LV... I dunno, how do you think that would stand up on the expenses form?
As it is, we didn't explore that avenue much further (too busy eating mini pies, befriending hairdressers and manhandling the autocue), but when I saw these SteamLine Luggage trunks earlier today I started thinking about other ways that I could con people into sending me nice luggage.
I have nothing yet.

Dear Luella,
Plz don't ever stop doing what you do.
Best,
Rachael
There is literally not one thing in that picture that I wouldn't want to be closely involved with my head.
Pic c/o Catwalking, of course
