You can always rely on good old Galliano for a bit of drama, so what better way to sum up the Paris shows than with a good old ogle at his makeup and accessories. Really, no-one does it better. It's a visual orgy!

Alexander 'Lee' McQueen's A/W show was inspired by Queen Victoria, Empirical India, and all sorts of fantasy figures that may well have been around at the time. Cue lots of crinolines, incredible dresses, bejewelled headpieces, and lots and lots of showstopping numbers. The ballerina-length (ie, ankle) skirts and dresses we have seen this season seemed to work better here than anywhere else I've seen them, although when even models wear them and get cankles, it's perhaps a warning to the rest of us.

These tights win the Best Hosiery of Fashion Week award by a MILE. I want them, I want them bad.
Keep reading for the rest of the LV show -- warning, it's not a patch on the tights.

So as the more observant of you may have noticed, last week there was a distinct lack of Bluegrass. I'm sorry!Posted by Administrator
Today's offering is less comedy than previous entries, and is actually just a really cool band. A lot of people are probably aware that after the Ramones, Dee Dee Ramone embarked on an appallingly bad rap career. What you may be less familiar with is Tommy Ramone's bluegrass band, Uncle Monk.
It's time to change that...
Let me know what you think!

Lanvin is a label that seems to be capable of doing the impossible. It's creative, intelligent, and cutting edge enough to appealing to fashionistas and editors, but it's sexy and covetable enough to get the thumbs up from footballer's wives and red carpet attendees too. Whether or not this is a good thing, you tell me. This season was a black and grey extravaganza, with pleating and draping galore. It seems designers had two choices this season -- black/grey or multicolour mania. I know which I prefer, but that being said I'm loving the Lanvin. There you go, proof that Alber can do no wrong.
