I think it's fair to say I consider Lesley Arfin the coolest broad alive. Like, since I first read her column in Vice all those years ago I've been obsessed with her. She's hot, she's smart and she's a good writer. That's basically all I look for in life.

It's that thing that, dude, I'm not a lesbo, I just think she's great. A girl crush, if you will. Like, you think she's totally cool and want to be her, but you don't want to actually DATE HER OR ANYTHING, WHY WHAT?

Anyway, you can check her apartment out on hip and/or happening apartment-snooping website, The Selby. I just looked at her clothes and tried to read the names on the books SO I COULD BECOME HER.

I always start the day with a quick read of the Daily Fail (online, obvs I don't give them any money). It's the singular worst paper on the planet, but I quite like reading it for the same reason I sometimes watch Loose Women. It makes me irate, but in doing so, determined to live my life as a better person. To quote my dad (Henry Rollins);

"Don't do anything by half. If you love someone, love them with all your soul. When you go to work, work your ass off. When you hate someone, hate them until it hurts."

That kinda sums up my feelings to the Fail. If I get angry enough by the writing, or more likely, the reader comments, then hopefully it'll inspire me to go out of my way to not be that level of idiot. It kinda works.

ANYWAY. Lecture over. This morning on the Fail I spotted a surprisingly good feature. About Su Pollard. Yes, they've referred to the good lady as 'wacky' [GAG GAG GAG GAG GAG GAG GAG GAG], but otherwise it's quite a succinct selection of images that sums up the ~bonkers~ actress's attitude to style.


Right those leggings and that jacket would definitely be sold in a shop today and sell out. The frog handbag makes me sick to my stomach because I hate frogs, but I bet someone from Sex & The City would like it. And the outfit on the right? Pretty sure my flatmate is wearing some or all of that right now.


Want those tights, quite like that jacket. Need that jumper.


Basically in love with that dress, and the Su-staple glasses add a certain Ronson hint to the look. The outfit on the right... I mean, I hate to sound like grandma but the kids around my office would wear that stuff on a night out. Especially enamoured with the necklace and I have those boots, pretty sure of it.
