Living in the depths of south east London (lol, does SE14 count as ~the depths~?), it seems only right I stock up on some body armour. The 21 is a dangerous bus these days. A ballistic vest probs wouldn't be appropriate for day to day usage, but maybe I could just buy 100 of these and cover my entire body with them?
Tobias Wong designed the Ballistic Rose out of polyester carbonate so you can (and I quote), "protect yourself in times of conflict by wearing this brooch over your heart." Swoon. I say, hit me with your best shot! Fire away!

Ever since Tavi kicked me off her Twitter friends (hurt is not the word), I've been on the lookout for a younger, more... French replacement. Think I found her. Now I just need to encourage this fierce bitch to start a blog. You and me kiddo, we'll give 'em all a run for their money.

Mark 'The Cobrasnake' Hunter, aka the man responsible for 50,000 guys walking around clubs saying they're ~photographers~, has launched a vintage store. Wut wut? I can't hate Mark Hunter, despite his part in the creation of Cory Kennedy, because he also played a part in one of the best nights of my life. Picture the scene; me and Twineth dancing at Misshapes (lol, I know, how 2006... wait, it was 2006), out of town redneck who we've already rejected does the classic 'sexy grinding against the back of a girl' dance, only for 'her' to turn around and reveal 'herself' as a long-haired lovely man. That, followed by a storming scream-along version of 'Since U Been Gone' = one of the best nights on record, all snapped by Mark.
ANYWAY, who cares about my drunk shenanigans? Mark has set up this store selling all sorts of odds and ends. Here are my picks;

I'll wear this to rep Susan Boyle.

Is this Michael Kors S/S 09 or wut?

Essential summer gear.

Seeing these vintage Stüssy ads reminds me why when I was 16 the only clothes I wanted to wear came from Stüssy, X Girl and Supreme. It was more like Clockhouse at C&A, Pilot and Tammy, but a girl can (could?) dream. Anyway, I'm wiping drool off my chin as I type. Hubba hubba, or something like that.

Wow, how clev-clev is Lee McQueen's latest reinvention of his classic skull scarf? Try and copy that one Claire's/Primark/every market stall in Camden. JUST TRY.
This bad boy was designed in collaboration with the HOME project to support their film, which in turn was created to raise environmental awareness and inspire people to explore the outdoors. Not for me the great outdoors (although I did climb a mountain in Wales in heels and a party frock owing to some bad packing).
The scarf will be on sale in June at Mr McQ's various boutiques and online store.
BTW, my barfday's coming up and I've rather set my heart on this. TIA.
