It's come to my attention that nothing's happened over the last couple of days. As such, I made some COLLAGES of things that are ~inspiring~ me at the moment. How fucking lame. This is almost as lame as yesterday when I played 'Sleepy sounds of beach waves' on repeat for about 3 hours. What a sap.




Strawberry Switchblade. Dunno why I forgot they existed, they're awesome. I have no plans this Friday night, so maybe I'll just do my makeup like them or something. Eyelashes from Shu Uemura. With ~stars~ on, because I'm predictable and/or 14. A letter that I really like.



Prada shoes. Loads of earrings from Girlprops. Editorial from ? and my new lipstick from the MAC Style Warriors collection. It's not as purple as it looks. Actually, it is, but it kinda works.



This mysterious jumper from Topshop that I'm looking forward to seeing next season...Paris Is Burning, obviously again and again ad infinitum, the amazing Johanni. Creepers? Let's not even go there.

I hope the world gets interesting again soon.

It's times like this I wish I could say 'shieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet' in the manner of Senator Clay Davis. I saw these shoes on Jak & Jil earlier -- apparently they're Karen Walker. I think they're probably the best shoes ever. I realise I say that often, but in this case I think I mean it. I like them even more than ~the~ Burberry ones. Clumpy heel of optimum height. Strap that's low enough not to showcase my fat ankles. THE STUDS.

I can't find them anywhere. Throw me a bone if you've seen them.

I haven't made any mention of the Chanel Resort show because I'm sure you've seen coverage elsewhere, but I just wanted to post this picture from M.I.S.S. because a) I love those girls and b) this picture has got me excited for my summer in Venice. Mad collage skillz team M.I.S.S! Kudos to Papa Karl too for another pristine resort collection. Can't wait to spend some quality sunshine time in Burano eating pizza and gelato... rad.

One of the negatives of not wearing trousers any more is that I don't get to wear socks. Every now and then I get the opportunity to slip a pair on and BOY is it a (comfortable) novelty. My boyfriend wears a variation on these most days and raves about how pulling them right up is basically the sartorial equivalent of an enema, ie, the most satisfying thing on the planet. Anyway, one thing that would mos def tempt me back to the world of pants is these Ashidashi socks. I don't know which are my favourite...
