I'm home. This is good because it means NX disco-time;

The down side is that a week on the Internet is a long time. 300 pages of blogs to read, 4 billion emails, and every single show from New York fashion week to catch up on. Unfortunately, all I want to do is drink tea and read the paper. Here are some things I learnt in Barcelona;

1) Leg tattoos. Get them. Both legs, pref. I don't think I saw one person without them.

2) Hammer pants. They're back. And how. There will be more on this soon, but SRSLY guys? Must every single Spaniard wear them? Is it an unofficial uniform? Did I miss something? Fat, thin, old, young, indie hipster, fashion guru, pensioner, toddler, silk, cotton, canvas, ankle length, knee length. All that matters is a dropped crotch and a need to look like Stanley Kirk Burrell, evidently.

3) That weird hair you only see in Spain. You know what I mean. Long strands on the bottom with a few dreads (and token beads), super short on top, in a top knot or high pony. Sounds wrong, looks wrong on anyone except hot Spanish girls.

4) Gladiator sandals. If you're a fan of them, wear with jeans and do the straps up over the top. I know, that's what I thought, but at least you don't get weird tan lines. I, on the other hand, got weird lines from my pathetic flip flops.

5) Bum bags. Say no more. Other than YES.

I'm in Barcelona for a week or so. I'll mainly be stuffing my face with tapas and going to my 2nd favourite bar on the planet, Tequila. ¡Hasta luego!

So it figures that I want this. Obvs. Gala has the best taste in accessories, no? Maybe if I say how much I like this Femme Sud bag (A LOT), I'll get sent one too.

I really like it. A lot.

Solid Gold Moss

You may have heard about the solid gold Kate Moss statue being created by Marc Quinn, but until now there's only been a sneak preview available. I've got no idea where they found it, but the clever old kids at ONTD FF have managed to locate the whole thing. Amazing.

I don't know what my opinion is yet. It's kinda weird, and I don't think it looks all that much like Kate, but I do love those sinewy veins and the rib cage.

Thoughts, plz?

That Being Said...

I just this on my friend's 'wall' (barf, modern life is rubbish), and, hot diggety dang, I used to have this sweater! I think I got it from the jumble sale at my mum's church, but it could have also come from the weird knitwear shop in Whitby that I used to visit every summer. Either way. Check it!

In answer to your impending questions, yes, I have always been this cool, and no, I don't think I still have it.
