Sonia Rykiel's shows are always incredible. The clothes are perfect, natch, but it's the laughing/dancing/conga-ing models that always make it for me. This season was no different in that respect -- go and check it out here. What was a little bit different, however, was that this season marked Ms Rykiel's 40th anniversary. Woop! After the ususal amazing collection there was a surprise in store, as 30 of the world's best designers sent tributes to Sonia scampering down the catwalk -- each garment designed to reflect the designer's vision of Sonia Rykiel. Rodarte, Jermey Scott and Jean Paul Gaultier were amongst the designers included, although none of the catwalk sites seem to be clarifying which work is which just yet. Ooh, but guessing is half the fun, no?

The problem with having stupid stretched ears is that wearing stud earrings is nigh on impossible. Today I saw two really nice pairs in Topshop, but they wont fit in my stupid ears. If you're not stupid like me and don't have stupid plugs, you should buy either (or both) of these pairs.

I had the Leighton Denny Immaculate Manicure today -- amazing, go there, give them all your money, feel instantly better about your fat hands. When I was asked to pick a colour I made the perhaps unwise decision of opting for the neon pink/coral-ish Copycat. Not especially this season (whatevs), and a bit of a change from the mushroom Nails Inc Jermyn Street that I've been sporting of late, but I fucking love it. I feel like Jordan and that's something I'm down with.

How weird. I saw these fringed sunglasses here (btw; fringed sunglasses??!!??!!??!!??!!??!!??11etc), and when I clicked through to here, I found these other sunglasses I was obsessed with about three years ago.



Still can't afford either. Here's some token ZZ Top to lift the mood.
