In the garage

HOW expensive are coats? I thought probably somewhere in the region of £60, but no. Even Topshop is charging upwards of £80 for a POLYESTER (49%) blend jacket. I really want a new winter coat, despite having something like 100, but at those prices I just can't justify it at the moment. Even Ebay is failing me, and I have no desire to go shopping IRL at the moment.

I'm going to Sheffield soon, and I am hoping and praying that two jackets I left in the garage to go to the jumble sale are still there. Things go to our garage to get sorted and sent to jumble/charity shops/those bags you leave on the doorstep, but they never seem to make it any further. Whenever I go back I have a rummage and inevitably end up taking half the stuff back with me. It's recycling, kinda. Anyway, I think I have a purple suede coat with massive fur trim (it's virtually identical to this, but better) and I also think I have a Del Boy-esque sheepskin jacket that I kind of can't stop thinking about. I seem to remember I abandoned it because it was my dad's in the 70s (lol) and he's at least a foot taller than me and about three times as wide, but we shall see.

Anyway, if you have a spare £85, this coat is from Topshop. Want.

Fake off

This is another one of those things where I kinda don't want to tell you, but I will, because I'm good like that. That, and MISS Crew already mentioned it.

Lillian Crowe is an Etsy megastar who makes custom and one-off jewellery with genuine (HONEST GUV) Chanel buttons. So it's kinda like fake Chanel, but not so much that you'd upset the Kaiser.

As MISS point out, the problem with these pieces is that there's one of each, so they kinda disappear in an instant. Bookmark it, check back often, hope for the best. The prices are super reasonable -- nothing more than $40. She also makes non Chanel related stuff, but I'm all about the CCs.

Thanks to MISS for snaring the pics before they sold out on Etsy!

WOW why has no-one else thought of that? I bet they have. I've been meaning to link to LADY JADEY (HI!) for weeks now, and just kept forgetting. Today, however, she posted this killer t-shirt, so no time like the present.

Isn't this t-shirt amazing? Even if you're not jumping on the whole 'Barack to the future' bandwagon it's still a nice design. Not as good as this one though.

They both cost a STUPID $15, and international shipping is $15 too. That's essentially $45 all in for two of the best t-shirts EVER. ARE YOU MAD? Why are you still here? GO HERE AND BUY THEM.

There was headgear of all varieties at the shows this season, and it seems Vogue Italia predicted it aaaages ago, like the clever chaps they are. These scans are from the October issue which hit the newsstands last month. Oooh I love them. Nice colours, y/y? Easy way to ~jazz~ up a bun and hairnets are so practical too... hmm I bet you can pick some nice ones up on Etsy.

Scans from Some Notes On Napkins, ta!

I was kinda depressed today, but all that was put to the back of my mind when I got home and discovered that my flatmade had bought me a pack of Mr Kipling FIENDISH FANCIES.

French Fancies are basically one of my main food groups, so obvers I love these too. Available at all good supermarkets now, although there are no pictures anywhere. Just trust me on this one.
