Dime Piece's new season collection has just dropped and is, obv, amazing. This is the Girl Props cardigan. Wait what? The Girl Props cardi? So we've got one of my favourite designers naming pieces after my favourite shop now have we?

I'm not realy sold on the shape of the piece, but I think I'll be convinced when I see it on someone. I'm a simple being.

You can buy it at the Dime Piece store or all the other usual DP stockists!

We're more than horses

Susie Bubble blogged about these, but just in case you're one of the 3% of the population that don't read her site, here they are again. I couldn't let you miss this one.

In the second year of University I went to a fancy dress party as a unicorn. I wore my friend's white spandex unitard from her childhood dancing days, a tail made from hair extensions and a horn fashioned from a stuffed cone of, uh, more spandex I think. For some tragic reason, I can't find a single photo of that night. I wish Tour De Force had been around back then, and that I'd had a spare £139 to drop on this bad boy.

Duck off

Me and Anna were literally just talking about how predictive text is programmed not to 'learn' bad words and how it repeatedly replaces 'fuck' with 'duck'. My phone remembers everything from smorgasbord to Bananarama but it refuses to acknowledge the F word. When I text, people are routinely told to go duck themselves or that I don't ducking believe how slow the 453 is.

A+ to Topman for this ducking awesome shirt. Why are their men's shirts always so much better?

Ooh la la Lacroix

A few years ago I was doing some work experience with a stylist who shall remain nameless (BECAUSE HE IS A COCK END). We were working on a story for Vogue Nippon and called in a large amount of that season's Lacroix collection. I fell in love with it all, obviously. I liked it from the pictures, I liked it even more when it was in my grubby hands.

Anyway, this week I bought that bow from a designer sample sale site and I'm jolly happy with it. It's enormous and very shiny. I was always dubious about designer sample sale websites -- sample sales are awesome, but websites? Not so much. The Internet rules and all (OBVS) but these kind of things have no authenticity -- how do you know it's not just set up by some crazed person with an Internet connection and a knack for copying and pasting off Style.com? I was sent an invite to Cocosa a while ago though and joined up because, well, I had nothing better to do at the time. I'm glad I did so far. Their sales are nice and select -- Mawi, Lacroix, Erotokritos, Matthew Williamson... and all at very decent discounts. My bow cost less than a similar one I toyed with in Topshop, so I'm sold.

Everytime I see my bow I will be reminded of COCK END NIPPON, and be smug inside because I never have to do his sodding returns again. Hai! Here's 60 pairs of DMs, return them by hand in this sack. Oh and when you get a chance, here's 40 black thongs from 40 different places. Ensure you return them to the right designer, even though I cut the labels out of them all. LOL!

Cocosa is invite only at the moment. If anyone's desperate to join, get in touch.

Retail science

The credit crunch is getting really old so I'm sorry to bring it up, but I'm really starting to resent it. Because of the snoresville financial woes, my impending New York plans had to be shelved which is a total bummer. Still, I'll always have GirlProps. I'm gonna spend two hours on the website this weekend then get dressed up and sit in my back yard drinking lukewarm beer and eating popcorn. It'll be just like a Saturday in New York -- wasting an entire afternoon in the Prince Street store then heading down to Rudy's. BOO HOO. Anyway, these earrings are in my current shipment. They remind me of Beauty & The Beast.
