Y'all know how excited I've been about Obama merchandise, and I had been pondering when the post-election celebratory goods would start appearing. Today, evidently. This clever -- and more importantly, stylish -- shirt is available from your friends and mine, Print Liberation as of now for $16. There's a grey one too, but for some reason that's $22. Because grey is nicer? I can't answer that one.
BTW, they have been busy boys and girls because this shirt has just popped up too. I want it because I'm a dirty hippy.

BTW 2, did you catch the South Park Obama special? I die. Celebrate Good Obama, Come On! You can watch a bit of it here, and I'm sure with basic Google-time you'll find the whole episode.

It's been about a week since there was last any new KISS merchandise released. I can only assume Gene Simmons has been on holiday, because this is most unusual for for the hardest copyrighting band in rock. I'm pleased to announce that their new merch is as EXCELLENT as you would expect.
First up are some new Vans featuring the artwork from Rock 'N' Rollover. They already have Vans featuring the boys' faces, but these are a welcome addition to what is, in my opinion, an undersaturated market. Next we have some jeans. JEANS! I'm so excited I might break my 'no trousers ever' rule. At first I thought the print was on the outside and I was all, no way. Then I thought about it a bit more and was all, yes way. Then I found out the print was on the inside and I was all no way again. Still, I think I like 'em.
By the way, on the subject of the Rock 'N' Rollover artwork, if anyone wants to buy me this for Christmas I would be totally OK with that.

Gareth Pugh has designed this rather flashy Christmas tree for Topshop's new Westfield store. The 3 metre tall creation is made up of 60 neon lights, so should look a bit better than your average tinsel bedecked, needle-dropping, wonky effort.
"This neon tree is my interpretation of the traditional Christmas tree shape, putting a super-slick and modern edge to it," says Gazza. "I think the simple melding of tradition and modernity aptly suits the mood at the moment; we are all looking to a brighter future."
Confusingly, Vogue say that the tree will also be seen at Topshop's Oxford Circus flagship store. I don't know if it's going to be moving around or what, but I'm sure a more concise blog will keep us posted.

You may well be aware that Agent Provocateur's latest range is called Pirates. To celebrate their latest range of excellent pants, AP are holding a party this Thursday and you, yes you in the pyjamas and slightly stained t-shirt, are invited. Get changed first though, yeah?
Thursday 13th November
Koko, 1A Camden High Street, London NW1
Doors: 9pm, show 10pm, doors 2am
Tickets: £10 on the door
Dress code: If you can't work that out, you're too dumb to go
Fashion show, performers, bands, DJs -- a winning formula. If you do happen to go, and you do happen to see Alice Dellal, give her a smack around the chops for me.

A couple of years ago I went to a fancy-dress party with the theme of album covers. As a dedicated fancy-dresser, I obviously spent hours online researching historical album covers and LP Cover Lover was always a source of the LOLZ. I was back on there recently and came across this little gem. I can't tell you anything about Yo Quiero Rock (other than that it means something like I want to rock in Mexican, right?), but I can tell you this. Lady in red is my new fashion icon. And her boyfriend's not bad either.
