Mattel's 'Ladies of the Eighties' series of Barbies. You don't need me to tell you who they're supposed to be. If I were Ann or Nancy Wilson (I fuckin' wish), I'd be pretty pissed. Then again, if I was Debbie Harry I probably wouldn't be too happy. Her colour was never that bad.
You can buy them at Entertainment Earth if you're that way inclined.

Soundtrack to a weekend in Sheffield partying at my BFF's place with her mum and dad out of town. Hello, 2000, it's so good to see you again. I might even re-enact The Tequila Night. Except with less blood. Hmm.Posted by Administrator

Thanks to my esteemed (and only) colleague Charles for hunting down this Supreme rug. We were gonna get this one, but I think 'Fuck 'em' is more the message I want to give out.

Henry Holland is the latest designer to do a diffusion line for the high street with the launch of H! by Henry Holland at Debenhams. It'll be in store next spring, but last night I went down to the launch party for a nose around. Half the London blogging scene were in attendance which was great to see -- nice work Henners.
I've never been a massive fan of HH's work. He seems like the nicest, most hard-working chap on the planet so I'm pretty keen on him, but his slogan t-shirts and subsequent catwalk collections haven't really done much for me. I had no idea what to expect from this collection; is the Debenhams gal really ready for Henry?? Well yes, by the looks of things.
Grazia video skillz
The collection was totally not what I expected. Really tasteful, well made with nice fabrics and prints and just all round pretty fun. I would like every single dress and two of the shirts. The accessories were strong too, top shoes and bags (although I'm with Miggy on the baaad rucksack). Inspirations like Clueless and My So Called Life have been bandied around and I definitely got that vibe. 80s but tasteful. Nice work. I was really impressed with the prices too; the most expensive thing I saw was a 'leather' jacket for £40. Really pleasantly surprised by it all, so keep yo eyes peeled when it lands.
To celebrate Henry's collection, I have A SPECIAL PRIZE to give away. Clue; it's something from the collection. Actually, two somethings. All you have to do is comment on this post and I'll use random.org to select a winner. Neato!
