Papa Helmut Lang has teamed up with Absolut vodka this festive season to offer you, yes you, the opportunity to get your paws on some art for free. Creditcruncharific.
Ahead of his first ever solo art show next year, Mr Lang is offering a selection of prints absolutely free for your downloading pleasure. He's going to be showing the entire exhibition online (how modern!) in collabo with Absolut, but until December 31st you can get a sneak preview with the downloads. 'Next Ever After' (above) is now available, and would make a fine (free) gift for anyone this festive season.
To get it, go to the DOWNLOAD section of the Absolut site and just save the high-res file to your desktop. In 5 seconds more or less, (if you're on dial-up, shame on you) you'll have a digital art print that can be printed up to 24" x 36", that's personalised with your unique download number, date, time, country and IP address. Wowser! Bang it in a frame, job's a good 'un.

I saw these decks on ONTDFF last night, and clearly my interest was piqued. Unfortunately I made little headway in my Jessica Fletcher style snooping, but I guess I did come across the site they originated from. In a nutshell, photo-duo Claudia Knoepfel and Stefan Indlekofer got some banging models to get their kit off for a series of limited edition skateboards. It makes a nice change from the busty manga babes of Hookups, that's for sure.
The limited run of 150 decks features super hot supers Lara Stone, Isabeli Fontana, Toni Garrn and Edita Vilkeviciute. From what I gather, Knoepfel is BFF with Matthew Lee, who is responsible for 'Doodah' -- a big Swiss skateboard shop, and they figured they might as well combine their powers. Collabo-tastic! As the site says, "who wouldn’t want to go for a ride with one of these beauties?" Quite. Except for the fact that Toni's 16, right? They're only £60 though, which seems reasonable for a bit of limited edition action.
PS With those pics, the lyrics to My Skateboard are oh so poignant. Maybe, haha. Still, if I was a teenage boy I reckon I'd be happy sitting at home 'admiring' these.

While the world is going mad for Nancy Wu's shoes, I have to admit that my interest was piqued rather more by her jerky creations. The Chanel handbag is awesome, but I'd like to see more of the LV creation too.

By the way, while we're on the subject, I'll have a Meat Tree Bouquet for Christmas, thanks.

This is either the best thing I've ever seen or the worst. I literally don't know. Decide for yourself. Patterened collar stays. 'Collar Ink', if you will. What's swaying me more towards 'love' than 'hate' is the product descriptions. Take the skull and crossbones design;
"The skull and crossbones is a classic tattoo motif, denotative of all things bad-ass. And with a hat trick of skulls these collar stays are chock full of attitude. Wear these to feed your inner pirate—perfect for those hostile corporate takeovers, or when you just want to exert your red-blooded dominance. They do the trick during the hostile commute to work and when it comes time to confront your putz-of-a-boss. They also help you stay true to yourself during formal affairs—you’ll be suave on the outside, but still swashbuckling inside."
There you have it. I suppose they'd be a good stocking filler for the shirt-wearer in your life? The website also has a fascinating history of stays, and I genuinely mean that.

The new Worshipworthy ~Holiday~ collection is up! I love the sequinned bodysuit but it's a fairly unrealistic option compared to the bitching t-shirts. Vivienne Westwood no longer floats a boat for me, but the Viva shirt (above) is nice all the same, and I especially like how they captured Viv during her Shirley off 'Enders era. It has to be said, my heart belongs to the 'Saint' Laurent YSL style(below). Cute!
