Dear readers,

It is rare that I ask anything of you, but if you can find it in your festive hearts to donate any small amount to this very good cause, I would be forever grateful. My dearest Twin is attempting to cycle from London to Paris in aid of The Multiple Sclerosis Trust and needs to raise a fairly substantial sum before February.

Look at that little face! How could you turn it down? Every penny counts! Read all about her (mis)adventure here and more importantly, click to donate. While we're on the subject, if any kindly soul wants to provide her with some padded underwear, it would be most gratefully received.

¡Feliz Año Nuevo!

For reasons unbeknown to me, my dad bought me two books about 70s fashion for Christmas. About twenty years off my era of choice, but there we go, broadening my horizons. I'll come to the second book at a later date, but the first one is basically a 'lol the old days were funny'-style tome as you can see from the caption in the picture above (click to enlarge). The predictable problem is that I really like everything in the book, from the clothes and makeup to the bitching cork kitchens and mustard bathroom suites.

The picture above is a catalogue advert for range of leatherette beachwear and without wanting to be too predictable (again), I fucking love it! I particularly love babe at the back with her Kim from How Clean Is Your House/Alexander Wang hair. I'm going to dig out some leather effect spandex from my fabric trunk and have a bash at knocking some of these out for my Vegas trip. Next step; extensions.

Gonna get a camel, gonna sell my car

Maybe it's the result of being drunk for a week, but I just bought this in the ASOS sale. Was that a completely fucking stupid thing to do? I guess we'll just have to wait and see when it arrives. Either way, at least it's gonna look awesome with the Xen Tan/Snob combo that is my daily beauty routine.

On the less risky side, they also have a bunch of Wildfox things on sale so if, like me, your aim in life is to resemble Lindsay Lohan, you're in there like swimwear. I nearly bought this shirt last week in Selfridges full price. Man I woulda felt like an ass.

Run, don't walk to the ASOS sale.

Just in case you were wondering if there was anything left for American Apparel to get their dirty hands on... AA Nail Polish, obv. Read about it on WAH this morning and lo and behold, there it is on Pipeline.

Nice colours (ha ha, obviously) and good names too. They all relate to something AA based, including Hassid (??!!) which is a dark, Jewish black I guess (it's OK, AA is a Jewish company, that makes it acceptable), Downtown LA in red and Office which is the mint blue green of a notebook from accounts at their HQ. Oh, how very American Apparel. Pipeline says the bottles are all filled by a 91 year old grandma from NYC but I feel like that must be a lie. They're £4 anyway and it's a dead nice range of shades. Wonder how well they work though? Bet the adverts will be Tom Ford-esque splayed fingers ha ha.

My old uni friend Alex just posted these laptop stickers from Hu2. Neat!

On the subject of which, I am in desperate need of the Marc by Marc Jacobs Into The Wild Laptop Case. I shoulda bought it last week when I had the chance but I didn't for some inane reason and it's now sold out absolutely everywhere. I have considered theft, bribery, eBay. If anyone can find it, I will offer them a cash prize. This is a serious cry for help. HELP. There you go.
